Last week we had our first parent social outing at Crispelli’s in Berkley. Thank you to everyone who joined us, it was a wonderful chance to connect outside of school.

This week we have two spirit days: wear yellow tomorrow for Microcephaly Awareness Day and BPS spirit wear on Friday to celebrate Seaholm’s 75th anniversary. Additionally Bloom Pediatrics will be holding a Flu Vaccination clinic at Quarton on Thursday and yearbook sales are open, with 10% off during the early bird period. Lastly don’t forget to purchase your spirit wear, today is the last day to place fall orders!

September was packed with events and excitement. We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up, volunteered, and supported the PTA along the way!

Century of Quarton Connections

Next week, our Centennial Spotlight will begin a journey through the decades of Quarton’s history, starting with the 1920s. We’ll explore the little details that bring each era to life - what students did, how families gathered, which teachers left a lasting impression, and the traditions people still remember.

Do you, or does a parent or grandparent, have a connection to Quarton? We’d love for you to share favorite teachers, special memories, photos, traditions, or other stories that could be featured in an upcoming Centennial Spotlight. Please send your contributions to quarton100yr@gmail.com, along with the approximate decade or year, if known, and stay tuned as our journey begins next week!

It takes a village to make Quarton shine. Thank you to the following volunteers, families and businesses who have generously shared their time, talents and resources with our school!

• Adriana Diamond & Christina Duggan for planning our 1st parent social event
• Diane Weisberg, Stephanie Edelson & Liza Gordon for designing, ordering and delivering grade level t-shirts for grades JK-4th in time for the Fun Run
• Katie Schafer & Katie Corden for designing, ordering and delivering 5th grade t-shirts in time for the Fun Run
• The Billmeyer Family for donating apples to the entire school on Fun Run day
• Wachler Estate Collection & Diamonds for donating towards our Trunk or Treat candy collection

And thank you to all the parents that volunteered this past week to assist with grade level t-shirt distribution, captain a Bike Bus meeting point, noon-aide, work the bandaid center and took time out of their busy schedule to attend our first PTA parent social event. We truly have the BEARY best community!
