Last week’s Ice Cream Social and Bike Bus kickoff brought our community together in a very special way! Thank you to our Ice Cream Social Committee chairs Linh Hock, Jen Valant, our event volunteers; sponsors Wallside Windows, Kurtis Kitchen & Bath, Maple Group, and Sissy Yellen Living; and to Bike Bus organizers Anna Paterson and Laura Markle and our parent captains for helping students ride to school.

Coming up: Our first Bagel Day is Thursday, with preordered bagels delivered to classrooms that morning, and all grades will participate in the Quarton Fun Run on Friday at 3 p.m. Grade-level T-shirts will come home this week to wear on Friday.

Don’t forget to order fall spirit wear by September 29—the next opportunity to purchase standard Quarton spirit wear won’t be until spring!

• Quarton is hosting a flu clinic on October 1st, click here to sign up.
• Local photographer Leon Halip is offering discounted mini fall family photo sessions to Quarton families at Quarton Lake on October 10th. Click here to secure a slot.
• We need Trunk or Treat Trunks and candy donations, click here to sign up.
• Bike Bus will continue on Wednesdays, meet up at the neighborhood meeting points by 8:30am. Please note the Quarton Lake's Bike Bus Meeting Point has moved to the northwest corner of Puritan Ave & Oak Blvd.

DIRECT DONATION - FRIENDS OF QUARTON: Please consider making an optional one-time contribution that helps support PTA programs throughout the school year. This donation is offered as an alternative to participating in product sale type fundraising, so families can support the PTA without selling items or collecting orders. There are two ways to donate. What’s Your Quarton Memory?

One of the things that makes Quarton so special is how many families have shared it across generations. Some of today’s students walk the same halls their parents did and perhaps even their grandparents. Many families have stayed in the neighborhood or moved back so their children can experience Quarton, too.

As we get ready to explore more of Quarton’s history, we’d love to hear your family’s story. Did you, a parent, or a grandparent attend Quarton? What teachers, traditions, friendships, or everyday moments do you remember?
